The last week of school is here, and next is Senior Activities. For the final stretch of senior year, students will have 4 days of different activities, both fun and required. All of the activities will be a half day or less.
On Monday, there will be a credit check at 9 and graduation practice at 1:30 which requires all seniors to attend. Tuesday will be the senior elementary walk at 9 a.m. Wednesday is senior field day and senior breakfast, starting at 9 a.m. Thursday is the Senior college celebration at 1:30 in the library.
“I’m honestly excited for the field day sort of thing,” senior West Eastup said. “I heard there would be slip and slides coming in.”
Most are excited about the field day, but there are also strong opinions about graduation practice.
“I think that graduation practice will be weird, with a mix of feelings,” senior Elliot Spellman-Burks said. “But it will be good in the long run. It will help prepare us for the real thing.”
A lot of the seniors are also really excited about going to their old elementary school. Senior Ren De La Cruz is most excited to see old teachers.
“Since I’m graduating early, I won’t really see anyone I’m friends with,” De La Cruz said.
