West is currently a senior at Crockett High School. After graduation West plans to attend ACC to receive his associate’s degree, then transfer to Texas State. West has a dream of working with nature. Since he was a kid, West loved exploring the outdoors and playing with animals. His favorite subject his science to learn more about the world. West loves to swim and can swim 1000 meters without stopping. He was also a life guard for the City of Austin. West joined newspaper because he enjoyed learning about journalism from his teacher.
